Adopt A School

The Alumni Association also serves to raise money for important school programs. Adopt-A-School allows alumni to to identify a local school or library of their choice to receive a Shroud Resource Toolbox.

Most school libraries have very few books or resources for further study. The same holds true for public libraries. Part of the problem is many of the important books on the subject are out of print but can still be obtained on the used market.

The Shroud Resource Toolbox consists of key resources in either new or used condition as they may be available.

Shroud University will place a resource package including:

• Five key books covering the science and history.

• DVD documentary for class use.

• CD of Shroud related images for presentations.

• A Poster to promote the materials.

• 1/5 scale cloth replica for visual display.

• Packaged in an intriguing treasure chest similar to the one below.
  

The Shroud Resource Toolbox is donated to a school library selected by the contributor. The materials are sent to the school as a gift from the "Shroud University Alumni Association" to help students research one of the top mysteries of the world. The materials are sent in a box that looks like an old treasure chest with the moniker, “Explore the Mystery”.

The Adopt-a-School program costs $250.00 per school. A letter certifying the placement will be sent to sponsoring alumni. The online resources of Shroud University will augment the placed materials for student research and study.
