The team scientists were limited to non-destructive tests. Other than loose fiber or particle samples they were not allowed to cut any part of the cloth. Tests include spectroscopy, x-ray radiography, x-ray fluoresence, scanning photography from infrared to ultraviolet, photomicroscopy, infrared thermography, particle analysis, blood analysis, raking light photography, transmitted light photography and more.
