Shroud University is committed to advancing academic research on one of the greatest mysteries of all time. Time Magazine called it, "The Riddle of the Ages." It could also be one of the most significant archaeological artifacts from the Christian era.

Despite the claims of some, the overwhelming evidence is that the Shroud image is not the work of an artist and the bloodstains test positive for human origin. It remains a fabulous mystery worthy of continued study and research.

In a university format featuring ten schools of study, we have organized dozens of links for you but only to those sites or articles that have academic merit. Excluded references include esoteric speculations and diatribes that stem from an atheist agenda. Also included is a huge variety of podcasts, video blogs, streaming video and streaming audio sources of information.

It is the position of Shroud University, based on significant evidence, that the Shroud COULD be authentic and it is from that standpoint that reference materials are featured. Opposite viewpoints are readily available on the internet and in the School of Debate. Many more resources are available in our Library.
